Our clients include some of the largest utilities, telecom, construction, forestry, oil, and rail companies in the nation.</p><p><strong>Hiring Field Service / Road Mechanic&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>CTOS provides a Utility Truck equipped with a welder, 4-ton crane, company computer.</strong></p><p><strong>Key Details:</strong></p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime &amp; travel as needed.</li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Must hold a valid driver&rsquo;s license and mechanics tools.</li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><strong>You will work with a variety of equipment including aerial cranes, bucket trucks, boom trucks, dump trucks, conveyors, digger derricks, pressure diggers, and aerial lifts and more.</strong></li><li>Pay based on experience, over-time as needed, healthcare plan, paid time off, 401k match, training, uniforms safety-boot &amp; safety glasses allowance.</li><li>Tool discount program and on-going Service Technician Education Program &ldquo;STEP training&rdquo;</li></ul><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Background in hydraulic fluid power troubleshooting</li><li>Background in pneumatic tool troubleshooting</li><li>Electrical, schematic / blueprints, hydraulic, welding, and related experience</li><li>Experience with Quick Serve, DTNA, and other diagnostic software.</li><li>DOT, ANSI, and Dielectric testing.</li><li>Assess, diagnose, repair, and/or replace damaged or worn parts for a variety of utility equipment manufacturers.</li><li>Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects.</li><li>Fit bearings and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.</li><li>Diagnose faults using pressure gauges, flow test equipment, and calibration devices.</li><li>Rebuild gearboxes, outriggers, and boom lift cylinders.</li><li>Perform initial inspections, diagnostics, and parts requisition.</li><li>Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using appropriate tools.</li><li>Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and vehicles.</li><li>Ensure all equipment meets quality and safety standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of parts, services, and labor.</li><li>Submit work/repair orders for approval.</li><li>Maintain professionalism and collaborate with team members.</li><li>Perform other duties as directed in a professional manner.</li><li>Adhere to best practices for a safe work environment.</li><li>Attend monthly safety meetings.</li></ul><p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED.</li><li>Five years of related experience. (Shop Tech and Field Tech)</li><li>Must hold a valid driver&rsquo;s license.
