Description

Purpose of position: to help manage our growing inventory needs in multiple warehouses. We are looking for a candidate that possesses strong organization, communication and people skills to join our team. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Buying inventory for multiple warehouses Communicate with warehouse managers Provide intercompany branch quotes to sales in a timely manner Initiate Transfers when necessary to keep from running out of stock Work with Purchasing Manager on buying of Sheet / Flat Roll items Handle Sheet / Flat Roll Mill Returns Verify and double check Cycle Counts Work directly with the Warehouse to identify and isolate defective material Qualifications: Minimum of a High School diploma 3+ years of experience in the purchasing field Background in the metals industry would be a plus. EMS provides a clean work environment and offers gloves, face mask, and hand sanitizer. We are a Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer
