Excellent communications and client relations skills with are a must, with the ability to manage a large staff of field personnel and work as a team player.</p>\n<p>M&J Engineering, P.C. (M&J) is a leader in construction management and inspection, civil, ITS, mechanical, electrical, wastewater, water supply, tunnel, airport, port, marine/coastal, and environmental engineering, and design-build services for both new infrastructure projects and renovations. Provides technical review of construction plans, specifications, and project changes for constructability and practicality.</li>\n <li>Manage office staff responsible for record-keeping general correspondence, compiling and drafting of required reports and deliverables.</li>\n <li>Responsible for overall site safety, permit condition compliance, and coordination with other City Agencies.</li>\n <li>Monitors Contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness, and effectiveness. Exerts influence over Contractors to maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc.</li>\n <li>Assists the Construction Manager in preparing proposals to provide professional services.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 5+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer on <strong>water/wastewater</strong> projects.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field.</li>\n <li>NY Professional Engineer (<strong>PE</strong>) License required</li>\n <li>NYCDEP experience is a plus</li>\n <li>Construction Management Association of America Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.</li>\n <li>Reliable transportation is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>M&J is a leader in providing quality engineering consulting services to a diverse and exciting client base.
