    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title:</strong></p>\n<p>Clinical Associate</p>\n<p><strong>Work Site:</strong></p>\n<p>Vancouver General Hospital - Intensive Care Unit </p>\n<p><strong>Status:</strong></p>\n<p>Permanent - Full Time</p>\n<p><strong>Start Date:</strong></p>\n<p>To be mutually agreed upon</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Type:</strong></p>\n<p>Salary</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Come work as a Clinical Associate with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!</strong></p>\n<p>Join our team at Vancouver General Hospital as an ICU Clinical Associate.</p>\n<p>In our multidisciplinary ICU and HAU, 15 intensivists staff 45 beds and provide services to adult patients from all programs including general medical and surgical, cardiovascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, solid organ and bone marrow transplantation, trauma and burns.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Under the direct supervision of the on-call Critical Care Physician, you will work alongside residents-in-training and provide medical services to critically ill ICU patients. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the extensive medical and allied professional education activities.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education, Licensing, & Experience</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Mandatory </li>\n <li>Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible – Mandatory </li>\n <li>Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory</li>\n <li>Anesthesia Experience – Desired</li>\n <li>Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) – Desired</li>\n <li>Emergency Experience – Desired </li>\n <li>Surgical Skills – Desired </li>\n <li>Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License – Provisional </li>\n <li>Canadians/Permanent Residents who are foreign trained and international applicants are welcome to apply.
