    "requisitionDescription": "<p><strong><u>Portfolio Manager</u></strong></p><p><u>Purpose</u></p><p>The Portfolio Manager (PM) is a client-facing, investment-centric role responsible for supporting the firm&rsquo;s Unified Managed Account (UMA) investment platform across three core functions:</p><ol><li>Direct client and Wealth Advisor team support&nbsp;</li><li>Investment Policy Committee (IPC) research and platform development&nbsp;</li><li>Partner integration support</li></ol><p>The PM serves as a key liaison between the Investment Policy Committee, Investment Management Team, and Credent Wealth Management, ensuring consistent implementation of the firm&rsquo;s investment philosophy, platform standards, and household allocation guidelines. &nbsp;</p><p><u>Role Responsibilities</u></p><p>1. Direct client and Wealth Advisor team support: The Portfolio Manager provides investment support to Wealth Advisor teams, ensuring high-quality execution, consistency with IPC guidelines, and support for organic growth goals.</p><ul><li>Provide education to Wealth Advisors regarding CX Institutional&rsquo;s investment philosophy, investment platform, portfolio positioning, and economic/market views and outlooks.</li><li>Ensure consistent application of the firm&rsquo;s investment philosophy across household allocations.</li><li>Support Wealth Advisors with new client and wallet share proposals, platform implementation, and investment related client deliverables.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in client meetings, as requested, to assist with portfolio positioning discussions, macroeconomic context, and investment strategy education.&nbsp;</li><li>Review household portfolios in advance of client goal reviews to ensure alignment with IPC-approved allocations, risk parameters, and investment guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with ongoing household allocation monitoring, tax-aware implementation, investment-related transactions, and internal audit support.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>2. &nbsp;Investment Policy Committee (IPC) research and platform development: The Portfolio Managers plays an active role in supporting the IPC through research, execution, and ongoing innovation of the investment platform. Assist IPC with research, modeling, and analysis across asset classes, sectors, strategies, and due diligence on prospective investment solutions.&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Analyze macroeconomic trends, market data, and research provider output to inform tactical portfolio adjustments, strategic long-term themes, and platform enhancements.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer, the Senior Portfolio Manager, and investment analysts to evaluate opportunities for investment platform innovation and core process improvements.</li><li>Contribute to IPC discussions and provide recommendations grounded in research and analysis.</li><li>Serve as the medium between IPC and Wealth Advisors regarding best practices for implementation of CX Institutional&rsquo;s investment platform.&nbsp;</li><li>Contribute to ongoing thought leadership.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>3. Partner integration support: The Portfolio Manager supports inorganic growth initiatives by assisting with partner integration and investment platform adoption.&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Serve as an investment platform subject matter expert in partner integration and business development efforts, including presenting and explaining the investment platform to prospective advisors.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with investment &amp; research analysts to lead or support investment mapping, portfolio transitions, and tax management conversations for newly onboarded advisors.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with investment &amp; research analysts to ensure efficient, accurate, and scalable transitions onto the investment platform.</li></ul><p><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform both quantitative and qualitative investment analysis.</li><li>Strong portfolio management and implementation skills.</li><li>Effective client and advisor-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, actionable insights.</li><li>Proven ability to collaborate across functions, including investment, wealth management, and business development teams.</li><li>Self-driven, adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of creative problem solving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</li></ul><p><u>Education and Experience</u></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in finance, economics, or a related field</li><li>CFA designation required</li><li>5 + years of professional experience in investment research, asset management, investment operations, compliance, or a similar role</li></ul>\n",
