Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position manages the day-to-day activity of three direct reports within the Finance team. As a member of the All Leadership Team (ALT), this position works closely with other Managers to ensure consistency of financial policy and procedures.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Day-to-Day Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for review by the Director of Finance.</li><li>Maintain documented system of accounting policies and procedures.</li><li>Ensure that all monthly, quarterly and annual taxes are prepared and paid within terms.</li><li>Coordinate the annual ERISA and Financial audits with guidance from the Director of Finance.</li><li>Oversee the work of the Finance Team.</li><li>Efficiently track hours worked, benefit accruals and ensure proper payment to employees.</li><li>Develop and maintain robust internal control procedures in a multi-store format.</li><li>Ensure &nbsp;accurate and timely payment of all producers, farmers and distributors via PO, A/P &amp; other processes.</li><li>Select, &nbsp;develop, supervise and evaluate the performance of direct reports.&nbsp;</li><li>Be a management role model and assist team members in their supervisory responsibilities, which may include but not limited to: hiring, coaching, development, performance evaluation, and corrective action for department employees, as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Create sustainable and forward-thinking departmental business plans and goals.</li><li>Develop and maintain favorable relationships with staff, members, customers, vendors and other stakeholders.&nbsp;</li><li>Have an understanding of and compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.</li><li>Ensure compliance with established City Market financial policies in compliance with GAAP.</li><li>Support City Market’s Global Ends, Values, Co-op Principles and Diversity Statement.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of NetSuite, Office Suite 365, with an emphasis on MS Excel, Point of Sale, and Paylocity HRIS preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of five years’ experience developing &amp; implementing budgets and adhering to labor cost requirements.</li><li>Minimum of five years management experience including but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and developing staff.</li><li>Experience working in a union environment preferred.</li><li>The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion is required.&nbsp;</li></ul>",
