This role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. The goal is to minimize equipment downtime, support continuous production, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Perform routine preventative / corrective maintenance on all manufacturing and support equipment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Perform general equipment repairs, installations, and improvements as well as maintain a spare parts inventory.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Assist Engineering on development and process improvement projects.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Assist R&amp;D on upcoming products as needed.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Maintaining cleanliness of equipment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Perform repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and plumbing installation and other repair work as required.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Follow safe maintenance practices and procedures.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Enter work in megamation system as needed</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Fabricate pieces and parts as necessary</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Assist facility teams with process improvements, research and order parts for the facility and equipment</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Maintain inventory of spare parts for repairs</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Schedule outside vendors as needed.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Assist production as needed</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Other duties as required and assigned</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· High School diploma or equivalent. Formal training in electrical and/or mechanical repairs a plus.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing maintenance organization.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Self-motivate able to work with minimal supervision</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Knowledgeable in hydraulic and pneumatic systems</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Ability to read and understand machine vendor operating instructions and procedures</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· General capability to read and understand mechanical drawings and wiring schematics</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Experience with carpentry, welding, fabricating and/or machining</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Ability to prioritize and complete work with minimal supervision</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Excellent interpersonal and time management skills</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Must work closely with the Engineering staff to implement new projects</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Must be able to follow assembly instructions and drawings</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Must have good written and verbal communication skills.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Open minded, reliable and willingness to learn new skill sets</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Possess excellent people skills and works well in a team environment</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Computer skills with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, a plus</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Skills utilizing machine shop equipment and fabricating repair parts, a plus</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Clear understanding of safe work practices and Lockout / Tag out protocols</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">WORK ENVIRONMENT</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Must be able to safely work at varying heights throughout the facility utilizing proper safety protocol.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Must be able to demonstrate safe lifting capability for 50 pounds on a regular basis and be able to operate lifting mechanisms for heavier loads.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Ability to bend, kneel, squat, twist frequently as well as reach overhead.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Able to safely operate basic hand tools and simple power tools.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· Wear eye protection, cut, chemical &amp; heat-resistant gloves, heat-resistant sleeves and other Personal Protective Equipment as required.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Galvion provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
