Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and our Environment and Sustainability team to support our 8 production teams and 3 Research and Development facilities in Central Kansas.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Enjoy this on-site role in Salina, KS working 4 days with a 10-hour shift and limited travel.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><div style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Provide guidance and advice to manufacturing plants to achieve regulatory compliance, interpretation of air and water conservation and regulations.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Support new capital projects with air permitting assistance, determining regulatory requirements, and guidance on selection of air pollution control technology.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Prepare reports, documentation and presentations on environmental performance, emissions calculations, and sustainability measures, including annual Air Emission Inventory and TRI reports for GPM plants.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Training provided to maintain a high level of expertise with industry trends, technologies and regulatory updates.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Implement Sustainability initiatives and ISO 14001 EMS system in all facilities.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Create Sustainability initiatives to reduce our Carbon Footprint, Reduction of Waste to Landfill, and Recycling/Reuse of Materials.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Ensure compliance with federal and state environment regulations and complete accurate and timely Air and Water reports.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.</span></li></ul></div><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Preferred Skills and Qualifications:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><div style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;'>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Environmental Engineering or Engineering Technology; prefer three years&rsquo; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
