You'll also work closely with technical towers and different business to understand IT requirements and deliver in the most effective way.</p><p>As a Systems Administrator II, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">On-going administration support of Data Protection and management of Cohesity platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)</li><li class=\"lst\">Using system resource utilization and monitoring tools like GAP (Grafana, Alert manager &amp; Prometheus) to identify potential issues.</li><li class=\"lst\">Assisting in change management of container platforms for new versions of OpenShift, Hotfixes, Sysadmin tasks, etc.</li><li class=\"lst\">Automating routine administrative and maintenance tasks by scripting the procedures through Shell Scripting, Perl or ansible</li><li class=\"lst\">Handling Major/Critical incidents for problem resolution &amp; work through root cause analysis and preventive actions.</li><li class=\"lst\">Collaborating with engineering teams for project implementation</li></ul><p><b>Do what you love</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Have bachelor's degree in computer<br />science/engineering or equivalent.</li><li class=\"lst\">Have 6+ Years of experience in the IT<br />Infrastructure Management and Service Delivery</li><li class=\"lst\">Have 5+ Years of hand-on technical<br />experience in managing Cohesity and Linux administration.</li><li class=\"lst\">Have 5+ Years experience working with<br />NetApp storage, virtual environments, clustering technologies.</li><li class=\"lst\">Have advanced knowledge of TCP/IP routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and high availability networking</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate effective communication and documentation skills</li></ul><p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
