    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Manager (International Linkages)</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The Manager of International Partnerships and Student Mobility at NMIMS University will play a crucial role in fostering and managing global collaborations and enriching international experiences for students. This position involves managing and expanding partnerships with universities and organizations worldwide, as well as overseeing programs that facilitate student mobility and cultural exchange. The successful candidate will be a key source of expertise on global student mobility, short-term and long-term mobility agreements, and support for funded projects, events, delegations, and opportunities within a Higher Education Institution.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>International Partnerships:</strong></p>\n<p>Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships globally with universities, research institutions, and organizations.</p>\n<p>Collaborate with academic departments to align partnership initiatives with the university's strategic goals.</p>\n<p>Develop and maintain strong relationships with international counterparts to facilitate collaborative UG &amp; PG programs &amp; projects, research initiatives, and short term student mobility programs.</p>\n<p>Manage the logistics and documentation of academic and non-academic partnerships.</p>\n<p>Execute partnership programs and own the maintenance and updating of all databases related to student/faculty exchange, Long term Mobility programs and research collaborations.</p>\n<p>Assist the Director in liaising with key contacts from international partner institutes.</p>\n<p>Conduct research and background analysis, preparing feasibility reports for potential partners and areas of collaboration.</p>\n<p><strong>Student Mobility Programs:</strong></p>\n<p>Design, implement, and oversee international student mobility programs, including study abroad opportunities, exchange programs, internships, dual degree, twinning, and joint degree programs.</p>\n<p>Provide guidance to students regarding international opportunities, including academic, cultural, and logistical aspects.</p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards for student mobility programs.</p>\n<p>Manage student mobility – incoming and outgoing (short and long term), summer schools, internships, immersions, student exchange programs, and the cultural integration of incoming international students.</p>\n<p>Handle the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) process for international students and faculty.</p>\n<p>Promote summer schools, internships, and research opportunities for students.</p>\n<p>Counsel students for study abroad programs.</p>\n<p>Work with global partners such as GMAC, College Board, Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Shastri Indo Canadian Institute (SICI), ETS (Educational Testing Services), etc., for various activities.</p>\n<p><strong>Cross-functional Collaboration:</strong></p>\n<p>Collaborate with academic departments, admissions, and student affairs to integrate international experiences into the curriculum and student life.</p>\n<p>Manage guest lectures, informative sessions, webinars, MOU signing ceremonies, and other international events.</p>\n<p>Build relations with entities like the US Consulate, British Council, Campus France, DAAD, Austrade, Education New Zealand, Network N+1, etc.</p>\n<p>Manage visits of international delegates from various consulates and universities<strong>.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Program Evaluation and Assessment:</strong></p>\n<p>Develop and implement assessment mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of international partnerships and student mobility programs.</p>\n<p>Collect feedback from students, faculty, and partner institutions to continuously improve and refine program offerings.</p>\n<p><strong>Budget Management:</strong></p>\n<p>Manage the budget for international partnerships and student mobility programs, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.</p>\n<p>Identify potential funding sources, grants, and sponsorships to support global engagement initiatives.</p>\n<p><strong>Promotion and Marketing:</strong></p>\n<p>Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote international opportunities and showcase successful collaborations.</p>\n<p>Represent the university at international conferences, forums, and events to enhance the institution's global visibility.</p>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Desirable Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>Master’s degree from a reputed institution with 7-8 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or student-related activities.</p>\n<p><strong>Specific Skills Required:</strong></p>\n<p>MS Office, result-oriented, understanding of transnational education, short-term and long-term mobility, interpersonal skills, teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, coordination, presentation skills, negotiation skills, influencing skills, attention to detail, legal and financial acumen.</p>\n<p>Experience with budget management and resource allocation<strong>.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Seniority Level:&nbsp;</strong>Manager</p>\n<p><strong>Industry :&nbsp;</strong>Higher Education &amp; Education Management</p>\n<p><strong>Employment Type: Full-time</strong></p>",
