    "description_html": "<p><strong>Purpose of the Position: </strong></p><p>South China Morning Post (SCMP) is looking for an experienced Freelance Project Manager with an agency or production background to join our in-house custom content team, Morning Studio. This role will focus on end-to-end project management and client servicing, with opportunities overseeing a diverse portfolio of offline and online branded content projects for clients across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and around the world.</p><p>SCMP is dedicated to elevating the conversation around Asia and China. Morning Studio works with our advertisers and brands to help develop branded content for our platform.</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service while supporting SCMP’s business and sales objectives</li><li>Collaborate closely with sales and business development teams to manage incoming B2B and B2C projects across digital and print platforms from clients in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and abroad</li><li>Develop, review, and monitor detailed project plans, schedules, deliverables, and feedback loops for both online and offline marketing campaigns</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for client servicing and project management, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to align expectations, timelines, and deliverables</li><li>Proactively track project progress, ensuring all stakeholders—including clients, vendors, and internal teams—are informed and aligned on feedback and deadlines</li><li>Identify and resolve project challenges related to vendor coordination, content delivery, timelines, and communication gaps to keep projects on track</li><li>Support strategy development for integrated marketing solutions, helping to retain and grow existing client accounts through upselling opportunities</li><li>Manage project budgets and liaise with production vendors and freelance contributors to ensure cost-effective delivery</li><li>Provide regular status updates and performance</li><li>Report to a Senior Manager of Morning Studio</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>University degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related disciplines</li><li>Minimum 3 years of production and client servicing experience in a creative or marketing agency, or within a production team</li><li>Proven expertise in project management and operations, with experience managing multidisciplinary creative and production teams and external partners</li><li>Understanding of design and production workflows across digital, video, graphic, social media, print, and custom publishing formats</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels</li><li>Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential</li><li>Flexibility to work outside normal office hours as required by project schedules and events</li></ul> <p style=\"line-height:1.38;margin-top:16px;margin-bottom:16px;\">Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.</p>Our Privacy Notice aims to comply with all relevant data privacy and protection laws.
