The individual is required to work on multiple assignments with overlapping schedules and needs to be able to multi-task to accomplish all tasks. The Structural Project Engineer will work towards becoming a Senior Project Engineer.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities: </strong>The Structural Project Engineer will have regular contact with clients and design team members and will be representative of RLG’s standards.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties / Responsibilities:</strong> The Structural Project Engineer's duties and responsibilities will fall under multiple categories including but not limited to: Technical, Communication, Leadership, and Development of Clients. These duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Solve Engineering problems with direction from supervisor</li><li>Prepare construction documents for supervisor’s review</li><li>Assist in preparing technical reports and specifications for projects</li><li>Review submittals based on construction documents</li><li>Use and understand design software and develop methods to validate results</li><li>Perform engineering duties such as planning, designing, and overseeing projects</li><li>Research and analyze data to plan projects</li><li>Prepare design modules and calculations for various structural elements</li><li>Prepare documents using BIM software</li><li>Develop knowledge of building codes and city permitting requirements</li><li>Develop knowledge of RLG’s clients and design team consultants</li><li>Coordination of design work with architects and other engineering disciplines</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p>",
