    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<h1><span>E-Coat Technician</span></h1><h3><span>Starting at $31.18/Hour + Pension + Benefits</span></h3><h2><span>About the E-Coat Technician Role</span></h2><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>Metalsa is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious E-Coat Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the operation and maintenance of our electro-coating and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring process control, product quality, and environmental compliance. If you have experience with chemical processes, industrial equipment, or wastewater systems and enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.</span></p><h2><span>What Your Day Will Look Like</span></h2><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li><span>Maintain process control and support daily line operations</span></li><li><span>Perform titrations and make chemical adjustments as needed</span></li><li><span>Monitor and maintain tank levels and chemistry</span></li><li><span>Change bag filters and flush ultra-filters</span></li><li><span>Conduct tank dumps, clean-outs, and chemical additions</span></li><li><span>Run test panels and parts for quality analysis</span></li><li><span>Monitor process conditions, including temperature and chemistry levels</span></li><li><span>Complete daily equipment and laboratory inspections</span></li><li><span>Assist with troubleshooting process and equipment issues</span></li><li><span>Operate forklifts to safely transport chemicals and materials</span></li><li><span>Track department KPIs and maintain required reports and display boards</span></li><li><span>Monitor and report issues within e-coat and wastewater systems</span></li><li><span>Maintain chemical inventories and supplies</span></li><li><span>Support wastewater treatment operations when assigned</span></li><li><span>Perform preventative maintenance activities, including oven cleanings</span></li><li><span>Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation</span></li><li><span>Perform other duties as assigned</span></li></ul><h2><span>What You'll Need</span></h2><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li><span>High school diploma or GED</span></li><li><span>Minimum of two years of verifiable experience in one or more of the following:</span><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li><span>E-coat, electroplating, or similar coating systems</span></li><li><span>Industrial or wastewater treatment operations</span></li><li><span>Basic laboratory testing and procedures</span></li></ul></li><li><span>Basic computer skills</span></li><li><span>Experience handling and working with chemicals safely</span></li><li><span>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</span></li><li><span>Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces</span></li><li><span>Ability to perform cleaning and housekeeping duties to support quality and safety standards</span></li></ul><h2><span>Preferred Qualifications</span></h2><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li><span>Degree, certification, or coursework related to the chemical industry</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of PLCs, motors, pumps, or industrial control systems</span></li></ul><h2><span>What's In It For You?</span></h2><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li><span><strong>Starting pay of $31.18 per hour</strong></span></li><li><span>Weekly pay</span></li><li><span>401(k) with company match</span></li><li><span>Steelworkers pension</span></li><li><span>Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits</span></li><li><span>Tuition reimbursement</span></li><li><span>Career growth and development opportunities</span></li><li><span>Supportive team environment</span></li><li><span>Union-represented workforce</span></li></ul><h2><span>Join the Metalsa Team</span></h2><p><span>At Metalsa, you'll be part of a team that values safety, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
