Overview
Join our team as a Senior Training Specialist and support the U.S. Coast Guard DCO-I Security Cooperation Division (DCO-I-2) by providing Security Cooperation and Security Assistance program management for the Coast Guard's international training mission. You will manage international military students in the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS), develop and schedule OCONUS Mobile Training Teams, support Foreign Military Sales case development, and prepare weekly statistical reports — ensuring training quotas are filled and U.S. strategic objectives are met. (Requires an active Secret clearance and the ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.)

Work Schedule and Location: On-Site:
This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at USCG Headquarters in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
Manage international military students throughout their training lifecycle in the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS)
Identify and balance resident training quota requirements against annual program allocations
Develop, schedule, and run the Coast Guard's overseas Mobile Training Teams (MTTs)
Support Foreign Military Sales case development, including Price & Availability requests, Letters of Offer and Acceptance, and amendments
Partner with Combatant Commands, foreign Security Assistance Officers, and regional training managers to shape training and assistance plans
Coordinate and escort foreign delegations visiting Coast Guard Headquarters, training centers, and operational units
Produce weekly student and MTT status reports and an annual five-year training trend analysis
Travel within the U.S. and overseas as needed (e.g., Germany, Costa Rica, Florida, Virginia)
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the foreign assistance or security cooperation field managing international military students and mobile training.
Knowledge of the USCG's overall mission, objectives, and programs, including the organization, management, and leadership process for accomplishing the international training and security cooperation mission.
Working knowledge of the USCG training system, courses of instruction, and training capabilities supporting international military training.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Security Cooperation and Security Assistance programs under Titles 10 and 22, U.S. Code (e.g., Foreign Military Sales, Foreign Military Financing, International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, International Military Education and Training, and other U.S. grant aid and foreign assistance programs).
Minimum of three (3) years of experience with DoD or USCG international military student management systems such as DSAMS and the Student Assistance Network.
Experience with all Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Active Secret Clearance.
Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
