Responsible for maintaining repair records and parts inventory in Garage, and for documenting parts required. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Johanna Foods Compensation</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Compensation $26.00- $31.00/hour, based on skills, experience, qualifications and testing</li>\n <li>Premium healthcare benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage</li>\n <li>Retirement savings account</li>\n <li>Company paid life insurance, vacation, holidays and sick days</li>\n <li>Full-time, 40-hour work week plus overtime opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on: Brakes (ABS), Wheels, Tires, Starters, Suspensions, Drive Belts, Hoses, Ignition Systems, Computer Codes, Turbos, Noises and Emissions. </li>\n <li>Ability to perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, lubricating equipment, fluid changes.</li>\n <li>Ability to drive a yard jockey tractor to move trailers between yard and garage.</li>\n <li>Ability to diagnose and repair ThermoKing refrigeration units on trailers.</li>\n <li>Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues on transport equipment.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and skillset required to complete DOT inspections on trailers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Mon - Fri 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical training and certifications in areas of mechanical, refrigeration, electrical and welding</li>\n <li>Welding skills documented via certification or evidence of work experience</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics</li>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms</li>\n <li>Proficiency in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software</li>\n <li>Sufficient base tools to perform duties</li>\n <li>Knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment</li>\n <li>Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools</li>\n <li>Track record of workplace safety</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills required to interact with other Garage Mechanics and management</li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Keen attention to detail</li>\n <li>Work experience satisfactory to JFI hiring manager(s)</li>\n</ul>",
