    "description": "<h2>Opportunity</h2>\n<p>PeopleTec is currently seeking an Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) group. </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Duties include aligning emerging technology innovation for the commercialization mission by conducting engineering assessments and identifying promising emerging technologies for transition into the Missile Defense System (MDS). </p></li>\n <li><p> Provide direct support to the government customer by overseeing active research efforts and delivering clear, accurate reports. </p></li>\n <li>Support Phase III Government Lead with all Phase III activities:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Follow-on Reviews</li>\n   <li>Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) Reviews</li>\n   <li>OUSD(R&E) Review of Topics</li>\n   <li>Critical Technology Alignment & Review</li>\n   <li>Success Story (capture & chart builds)</li>\n   <li>Capability Submittal Guidance to SBCs</li>\n   <li>Review and verify all submitted topics have identified capability gaps identified on SIPR</li>\n   <li>Distribution of White Papers/Capability Briefs (inbox) to Appropriate MDA POCs</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Must have a Bachelor's in a STEM field and no less than 7 years of experience </strong></li>\n <li><strong>Must have an active Secret Clearance</strong></li>\n <li>Demonstrated expertise in project management is needed to plan and develop emerging technology capabilities and analysis priorities. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge of BMDS to successfully develop and optimize technologies for next-generation missions utilizing system and component analysis principles required to successfully transition technology with system architecture. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate projects across multiple organizations </li>\n <li>Demonstrated skill and experience in managing the development of technical products </li>\n <li>Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications, developing and presenting briefings and preparing technical reports.</li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate projects across multiple organizations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated skill and experience in managing the development of technical products. </p></li>\n <li><p>Possess the ability to identify and resolve complex issues across organizational boundaries requiring in-depth knowledge of engineering fields in structural, propulsion, optical, chemistry, physics, operations research, mathematics, and computer science fields.</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated the expertise in project management needed to plan and develop emerging technology capabilities and analysis priorities. </p></li>\n <li>Skills include tracking and managing fast-tempo projects with attention to detail and schedule.
