We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll be challenged to do:</strong>This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Transportation Construction Assistgant (TA-1) who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The role highlights a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional quality and results on every project. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Support construction and inspection teams to assure that contractors build a quality construction project.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support team with assigned duties to specific activities to assure plans, specifications, standards and Q.C. Plans are adhered to.</p></li>\n <li><p>Comply with the District and project specific overtime requirements.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support the Department Project Engineer/ Manager/ Supervisor or Consultant Manager/ Supervisor daily, or as required, to receive instructions and assignments.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support the completion PSA’s and work sheets daily.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support Manager/ Supervisor for any instruction or assignment in the inspection of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with contract requirements and established standards. </p></li>\n <li><p>Attend and Participate in daily huddles with field staff.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<strong>What you will bring to our firm: </strong>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma, GED or post-secondary education and has the ability to read, write, and communicate in English and do basic math computation for length, area, and volume</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>What we prefer you bring:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>ACI, NICET, and/or NECEPT certifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Compensation:</strong>The salary range for this role is $21.22/hr. or $45,000 annually.
