From large-scale developments to small, fast-track interior fit-outs, Rycon is equipped to deliver a comprehensive range of services across all project types. Rycon’s portfolio includes projects in aviation, healthcare, higher education, industrial/warehouse, commercial, multi-unit residential, student housing, food service/dining, data centers/mission critical, retail, financial, self-storage, government/municipality, and LEED facilities. We have an in-house Architectural Finishes & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally. We are seeking  an  experienced  H uman  R esource   G eneralist  at  our  headquarters in   Pittsburgh . What  you will  do: Administer employee benefit programs through the company HRIS and carrier platforms, including enrollments, life event changes, reconciliations, and monthly invoice processing . Coordinate and execute employee offboarding processes, including preparation of separation documentation, benefit continuation/conversion (COBRA, life, 401(k)), and  conducting  exit interviews . Support the administration of FMLA and disability leaves (short- and long-term), ensuring timely documentation, tracking, and compliance with applicable laws . Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, both electronic and physical, in accordance with company standards and legal requirements . Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and practices . Partner in the onboarding experience by delivering benefits education and HRIS training to new hires . Participate in employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, while maintaining appropriate documentation . Serve as a point of contact for employee HR inquiries, delivering a high level of service and timely resolution . Support recruiting efforts as needed, including interview coordination and process backup . Maintain and audit HR data, reports, and spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and readiness for internal and external review . Prepare materials and presentations in support of HR and business initiatives . Stay current on HR best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging trends in human resources . What you will need to be successful: Associate’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, or related field ( Bachelor’s  degree preferred) Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including benefits administration and employee relations Demonstrated experience working with HRIS platforms and benefits systems; ability to quickly learn new systems Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines, particularly in leave administration and compliance processes Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready records Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Experience supporting employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary processes Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) At Rycon Construction, Inc.  we  believe outstanding employees build the foundation necessary for excellence in business.
