Our global footprint and collaborative approach mean our team engage in a diverse range of projects/commodities and contribute to mining excellence across the globe.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who are you?</span></p>\n<p>Mining Plus has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mining Consultant - Underground to provide their mining expertise and leadership experience on assignments including engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility), operational reviews, implementation of operational best practices, due diligence/independent reporting projects, project management, peer review of technical work, and business development. This position supports the Mining Plus global team by providing diligent leadership and world class project delivery.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The successful candidate will consult on diverse, high-impact projects and play a key role in strengthening client relationships while supporting our global team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mineral Reserve estimation</li>\n<li>Mine Design, Scheduling and Planning optimization</li>\n<li>Technical Report contributions (NI 43-101 or similar) and QP responsibility where applicable</li>\n<li>Mining contractor engagement and assessment</li>\n<li>Technical Due Diligence</li>\n<li>Peer review and technical guidance for team members</li>\n<li>Project cost modelling and financial assessments</li>\n<li>Software and system implementation</li>\n<li>Project Management</li>\n<li>Mentoring of team members</li>\n<li>Business improvement projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Desired Skills and Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognized Degree in Mineral/Mining Engineering</li>\n<li>8 years+ experience working in underground mining operations</li>\n<li>Eng. professional designation (or eligibility) is preferred</li>\n<li>Deswik and/or Datamine software experience preferred</li>\n<li>Production and mine engineering tools (Short Range Planning, ventilation, materials handling, water handling, etc. or drill and blast) experience favorable</li>\n<li>Participation in mining studies using international reporting standards of NI 43-101 (Scoping, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility) technical reports</li>\n<li>Mine design and mine scheduling experience</li>\n<li>Mine Economics and cost modelling experience</li>\n<li>High degree of motivation, strategic planning, and self-starting capability</li>\n<li>Proven track record of developing and strengthening client relationships, and managing business relationships</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensatio</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">n and work-life balance:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary range : CAD $120K - $155K</li>\n<li>Healthcare Plan</li>\n<li>Sick leave</li>\n<li>Generous vacation policy</li>\n<li>RRSP Matching</li>\n<li>Flexible work arrangements<br></li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*Applicants residing in Canada only need to apply  </p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p>We want you to write your next chapter with us.
