Responsible for maintaining policies, procedures, logs, certifications and documents required by law. Train staff in established emergency procedures and implements accident and fire prevention procedures.&nbsp;</p><p><u>Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following)</u>:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Assist the Director of Safety &amp; Security in administering fire prevention programs and emergency preparedness</li><li>Assist the Director of Safety &amp; Security in the oversight of all loss prevention operations to include but not limited to; patrol process, emergency response, investigations (initial &amp; follow up) for all guest and Internal Guest related incidents, electronic key system</li><li>Assist the Director of Safety &amp; Security in training all Internal Guests on the four parts of OSHA</li><li>Establish a training program to routinely train the loss prevention department and other property departments on topics related to safety and security</li><li>Comply with applicable federal, state and local law and safety regulations</li><li>Follow proper key control guidelines in loss prevention and in the property</li><li>Develop a monthly checklist for all CCTV equipment, alarmed doors, and duress alarms to ensure that they are fully functional</li><li>Incorporate into patrols, which encompass all areas of the property&#39;s interior and exterior, an inspection tour of recording system</li><li>Follow Duty of Care process for the protection of guests and Internal Guests</li><li>Follow up on all unusual activities in and around the property that would impair the wellbeing of guests and Internal Guests</li><li>Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts</li><li>Implement action plans to monitor and control risk</li><li>Oversee first aid program for guests and Internal Guests</li><li>Emphasize teamwork, close working relationships with other departments and assertive hospitality to serve as a deterrent to crime</li><li>Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members</li><li>Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance</li><li>Provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients</li><li>Train all new hires on loss prevention policies and procedures</li><li>Perform additional duties and projects as assigned</li></ul><p><u>Position Requirements</u>:</p><ul><li>Ability to speak, read, write and understand English</li><li>Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment</li><li>Five (5) &nbsp;years of experience in the safety/security/loss prevention field</li><li>Three (3) years of management experience in the safety/security/loss prevention field</li><li>Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, come of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information</li><li>Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Must have the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and work independently is required</li></ul><p><u>Education</u>:</p><ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s Degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major preferred, but not required</li></ul><p><u>Typical Physical / Mental Demands</u>:</p><ul><li>Must be able to stand, walk, sit for prolonged periods of time</li><li>Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch</li><li>Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push</li><li>Must have good near and far vision</li><li>Must be able to hear, talk, smell</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
