This position will also be expected to maintain a high standard of quality and always provide a positive customer experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Pulling and installing new Cat 5E/ Cat 6 cable.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Pulling and installing new composite cable for door access</li><li>Climbing up and down ladders at varies heights.</li><li>Installing cable pathways and raceways.</li><li>Be able to use basic hand tools and power tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including utilizing proper PPE, safe use of tools and machinery, and always adhering to safety standards and regulations.</li><li>Install proper cable sleeves and chases.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Take direction from Lead Technician.</li><li>Learn basics between different types of cabling.</li><li>Terminate Cat 5E/ Cat 6 cable properly.</li><li>Installing door access hardware (card readers, REX, strikes, door contacts)</li><li>Wiring and installing door access panels&nbsp;</li><li>Mounting and aiming surveillance cameras&nbsp;</li><li>Work as a member of the HBS Physical Security Team that provides consultative and proactive project management support to HBS’s account base.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend and participate in weekly team calls as directed by the Team Lead.</li><li>Ability to work in a team atmosphere as both a leader and contributor as assigned.
