This role will guide PM Teams in the successful completion of construction projects, from the initial hand-off from Estimating through final completion and close-out. Responsible for project and team oversight, this position will coach the Project Management Team in overall forecasting, resource allocation, project accounting, and project control and compliance. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities for this position.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Five Key Roles of the Lead Project Manager:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Directly manage the Project management team for the designated region or service. This includes, but is not limited to, PM team assignment, team &amp; workload evaluation, mentoring, and coaching to improve the overall function and caliber of team members.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Acting as the Fessler &amp; Bowman, Inc. spokesperson for the F&amp;B PM team and for elevated project issues.</li>\n<li>Manage the financial controls and oversee the profit/loss and project-level financial reporting for all projects within the designated region.</li>\n<li><span>Lead weekly meetings with the Director of Construction to identify, discuss, and solve issues related to project management and field operations at the project level.</span></li>\n<li>Continuously enhancing knowledge of industry best practices and innovations and communicating this to the Project Management Teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with the PM Team to lead efforts in establishing standard operating procedures.</li>\n<li>Partner with Estimating Teams to participate in the preconstruction and bidding processes.</li>\n<li>Coordinate and collaborate with other Business Units when necessary.</li>\n<li>Assess Team Member performance to identify when coaching or learning opportunities are needed.</li>\n<li>Organizing and planning for the safe and efficient execution of projects.</li>\n<li>Ensure accurate billing forecasts for all projects.</li>\n<li>Validate project financial forecasting.</li>\n<li>Elevate internal PM Team issues as necessary.</li>\n<li>Developing the PM team and holding each member accountable for their assignment.</li>\n<li>Identifying, addressing, and resolving team needs and challenges as they emerge by effectively leveraging available knowledge and resources.</li>\n<li>Other relevant tasks assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Education, Experience &amp; Qualifications:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is preferred, or equivalent in training and experience</li>\n<li>At least five (5) years of project management experience or seven (7) years of experience in leading or mentoring a team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Travel:</em></span></p>\n<p>Travel to and from job sites and office locations is required for this position. Fessler &amp; Bowman will reimburse travel expenses when applicable.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Work Environment:</em></span></p>\n<p>As a Lead Project Manager, you will be subject to various work environments.
