    "description_html": "<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><p>The pro shop attendant will maintain the golf operation at his/her specific facility and work cooperatively with other departments. The position will promote an exceptional “golf experience” and provide excellent services and programs to all our customers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p>Under the direction of the Head Professional, Course Manager, or Assistant Manager:</p><ul><li>Assist in supervision of outside services and starters/marshals</li><li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, management, and all members of the public</li><li>Adherence to the established policies and procedures of the MGASA</li><li>Assist with all golf services and operations of their course/s</li><li>Assist with the rental and maintenance of golf cars</li><li>Answer and direct all incoming calls, taking messages when appropriate</li><li>Assist with the booking tee times, starting, and monitoring of play</li><li>Track and verify that all players and guests register and facilitate proper controls</li><li>Assist all tournament, play day, clinic directors in the organization of events</li><li>Meet, greet, and welcome prospective customers</li><li>Adherence to all rules and regulations governing golf course usage</li><li>Assist with the operations of the practice facility</li><li>Assist in sale of merchandise and rental of equipment</li><li>Adherence to cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets and inventory</li><li>Assist with physical inventories and the display of merchandise</li><li>Initiate and implement safety regulations and procedures</li><li>Promote sales and golf specials</li><li>Operate the picker to mechanically retrieve golf balls on driving range</li><li>Perform marshalling duties when needed</li><li>Maintain compliance with TABC Seller/Server guidelines</li><li>Maintain the Communication Log Book during each shift</li><li>Oversee and collect fees for all golf related activities, clean and restock the pro shop and restrooms, and conduct regular maintenance</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p>",
