This rhythm gives you the tools, connection, and autonomy you need to make a real impact.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a Staff Software Engineer, you will join the team responsible for delivering the next generation high- volume, fault-tolerant, and scalable transaction processing system for Blackhawk. The candidate will possess a demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of skills and experience utilizing Java, Application service Interfaces, and database technologies. The desired candidate will have an excellent understanding and hands-on experience designing and building software components that can handle high volume traffic. Apply now for a chance to lead our products and platforms to new heights of functionality and adoption. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver high performance software solutions </li>\n <li>Provides Technical leadership to a team of software developers </li>\n <li>Work as a technical leader with Architects and product owners to build the right solution for the business requirements </li>\n <li>Demonstrates mastery to adopt industry best practices and processes to develop enterprise level software applications using best suitable technology stack. </li>\n <li>Provide technical expertise in performance tuning applications, ensure applications conform to security standards </li>\n <li>Work closely with Operations and Support staff to ensure production hand-off post-release </li>\n <li>Has a strong grasp of integrating application front-ends with server-side code and Web Services / APIs. </li>\n <li>Subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations. Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks. </li>\n <li>Lead Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, iteration demos and retrospectives. </li>\n <li>Lead code reviews process, influence and mentor team members. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>6+ years of software development experience with full application stacks. </li>\n <li>Experience in Java / JEE technologies and leading teams of software Developers </li>\n <li>Expert at Java jdk 11 or above and accomplished at multithreading.  </li>\n <li>Expert in service-oriented architecture and REST service knowledge. </li>\n <li>Expertise and solid knowledge of OO Design & design patterns. </li>\n <li>Very good Experience with open source frameworks such as Spring. </li>\n <li>Strong understanding of Algorithms and Data Structures. </li>\n <li>Demonstrate mastery in reviewing code, mentoring team members, and driving great development practices.</li>\n <li>Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including RDS and EC2, or similar cloud services.</li>\n <li>Strong experience with build, deploy & continuous integration tools like maven, Jenkins, Gradle, GIT etc.</li>\n <li>Strong experience with Java Unit Testing Frameworks and Tools such as Junit.</li>\n <li>Strong affinity for an engineering culture that emphasizes Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery </li>\n <li>Excellent problem-solving skills </li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written skills </li>\n <li>Very Good attitude & team player is a must.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with container-based application development using Docker/Kubernetes.</li>\n <li>Technology leadership experience in a modern / complex payment environment.</li>\n <li>Experience with building applications with ISO-8583 on JPOS</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>We seek candidates who not only demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in emerging technologies but have also successfully implemented and utilized AI tools to enhance their work, improve processes, or deliver measurable results.
