Our commitment to providing exceptional care, despite any challenges, goes beyond just a job; it’s a calling that drives us forward every day.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Overview</b></p><p></p><p>The <span><span>Grant Writer II</span><span> will have the primary responsibility</span><span> of </span><span>assisting</span><span> in the preparation a</span><span>nd submission of grant </span><span>applications </span><span>for responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by federal</span><span>, state, local, corporate</span><span> and foundation, and/or private agencies. </span><span>The Junior Grant Writer will work closely with the Director of Grants Development, </span><span>Senior Grant Writer</span><span>s</span><span>, and program staff to ensure proposals are compelling, </span><span>comprehensive,</span><span> and aligned with AltaMe</span><span>d’s mission.</span><span> </span><span>The </span><span>Junior Grant Writer</span><span> coordinates, manages, and at times leads the internal and/or external partner proposal development team process, both </span><span>soliciting</span><span> information from partners and crafting the narrative and budget of a proposal</span><span>. </span><span> </span><span>The</span><span> </span><span>Junior Grant Writer</span><span> </span><span>will</span><span> </span><span>be</span><span> </span><span>responsible</span><span> </span><span>for</span><span> </span><span>the</span><span> </span><span>timely</span><span> </span><span>completion</span><span> </span><span>of the proposal development process by the submission of a comprehensive application by the RFP deadline. This position may also proactively seek funding opportunities to be presented to leadership for approval to pursue. This position may also develop concept papers that</span><span> </span><span>explain</span><span> </span><span>and</span><span> </span><span>showcase</span><span> </span><span>best</span><span> </span><span>practices</span><span> </span><span>that</span><span> </span><span>expand</span><span> </span><span>and</span><span> </span><span>enhance</span><span> AltaMed initiatives.</span></span><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b>Minimum Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in English, Public Health, Communications,</span><span> or related field required, </span><span>Master’s</span></span><span><span><span> degree preferred.</span></span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Minimum of 2 years of experience in grant writing and non-profit development.</span></span><span> </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p></p>$74,611.99 - $93,265.00 annually<p></p><p><b><span>Compensation Disclaimer</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
