Come join Snowshoe Mountain resort! The custodial position removes solid waste from Snowshoe Village and business units on a daily basis, monitors Snowshoe compactors, and operates Snowshoe&#39;s recycle program for all recyclable material and hazardous waste.</p><p></p><h1><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></h1><ul><li><p>Inspect and maintain Snowshoe compactors, reporting issues promptly.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compactors are operational, clean, and emptied as needed.</p></li><li><p>Keep compactor areas and village trash cans clean and organized.</p></li><li><p>Manage trash and recycling collection, including special recyclables.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Pocahontas Recycle and handle special waste needs.</p></li><li><p>Report equipment defects, maintain cleanliness, and complete reports.</p></li><li><p>Arrive on time, wear appropriate attire, and participate in training.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to team efforts and achieve results as directed.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b><span>Driving:</span></b></h1><ul><li><p><span>Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b><span>Preferred Experience:</span></b></h1><ul><li><p>Ability to move a pull trailer attached to a pick up</p></li><li><p>Ability to operate a standard shift truck</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Snowshoe Mountain and location of departments is helpful</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b><i>All Information above is subject to change at any time.  </i></b></h3><h3><b><i>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.</i></b></h3><h3><b><i>Snowshoe is an equal opportunity employer.</i></b></h3>",
