This level works with little or no supervision and acts as a resource for lower level Application Analysts.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is a hybrid position. Candidates need to be certified in Epic Willow. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>A day in the life of a <strong>Applications Analyst III</strong>  at <strong>Hackensack Meridian <em>Health</em></strong> includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to effectively share knowledge with and mentor lower level Application Analysts. </li>\n <li>Installs/upgrades new/existing applications and components, configures application settings, and validates work performed by lower level Application Analysts.</li>\n <li> Assists in the coordination of end user support activities. </li>\n <li>Attends, participates in, and contributes to meetings throughout the facility. Coordinates and runs meetings within the IT department. </li>\n <li>Provides go-live support for users on new applications, modules, and functionality. </li>\n <li>Oversees and/or performs analysis of necessary application modifications and works with IT associates and/or the vendor to coordinate the modification. </li>\n <li>Analyzes business/clinical needs and requirements. </li>\n <li>Interprets end user requirements by fully discussing potential options and helping client move towards optimal solution. </li>\n <li>Evaluates the operational workflow that is applied to the system. </li>\n <li>Creates system specifications from user requirements. </li>\n <li>Creates test plans and tests new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications. </li>\n <li>Documents all outcomes of testing. Reviews lower level Application Analyst`s test plans and documented outcomes for consistency and thoroughness. </li>\n <li>Responsible for application implementation, troubleshooting, and support. </li>\n <li>Presents oral and written communications to project teams and other departments. </li>\n <li> Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. </li>\n <li>Updates system, operational, and department documentation. </li>\n <li>Recommends areas for process improvements. </li>\n <li>Provides on-call support for applications. </li>\n <li>Provides input into policy and procedure redesign. </li>\n <li> Functions as a preceptor for new staff in the department. </li>\n <li>Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.</li>\n <li> Lifts a minimum of 20 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 20 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day. </li>\n <li> Adheres to the Medical Centers Organizational Competencies and Standards of Behavior.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience.</li>\n <li> Minimum of 3 years of IT experience preferably in healthcare or related field OR 2 Years of IT experience and 2 years of clinical experience. </li>\n <li>Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.</li>\n <li> Works independently and effectively manages time with little or no supervision. </li>\n <li> Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook. </li>\n <li>Effective oral and written communication. </li>\n <li>Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation.</li>\n <li> Collaborates with other team members across the department. </li>\n <li>Demonstrates self-direction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses and Certifications Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or where applicable, other relevant applications experience. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you feel that the above description speaks directly to your strengths and capabilities, then please apply today! </p>\n<h2>Starting Minimum Rate</h2>Minimum rate of $97,011.20 Annually\n<h2>Job Posting Disclosure</h2>HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
