    "description": "<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>We are looking for a <strong>Transportation Specialist</strong> to join the team!</p>\n<p>Incumbent will be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of vehicles. This position requires 100% interstate and local travel. Incumbent must also have an active CDL and clean driving history.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Determines the needs for vehicle pick-up and/or deliveries route daily.</li>\n <li>Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.</li>\n <li>Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.</li>\n <li>Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.</li>\n <li>Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.</li>\n <li>Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.</li>\n <li>Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations.</li>\n <li>Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered vehicles and collect payment for services when required.</li>\n <li>Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting vehicles.</li>\n <li>Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs.</li>\n <li>Check conditions of trailers after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage.</li>\n <li>Read and interpret maps to determine vehicle routes.</li>\n <li>Load and unload trucks, or help others with loading and unloading, operating any special loading-related equipment on vehicles and using other equipment as necessary.</li>\n <li>Inspect loads, ensuring that cargo is secure.</li>\n <li>Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, tire chains, or spark plugs.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other drivers as part of a driving team on some trips.</li>\n <li>Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</li>\n <li>Must have and maintain an active and valid CDL and clean driving history.</li>\n <li>Must be able to load/unload and operate a flat-bed truck with experience.</li>\n <li>Must have an open schedule and be available on weekends as needed.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate with field, regional and corporate management.</li>\n <li>Must be a proven self-starter with strong time management skills.</li>\n <li>Able to use industry related technology platforms.</li>\n <li>Be able to work in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate safe driving skills.</li>\n</ul>",
