Job Summary As a Junior Administrative Clerk within our Finance Team, you will develop basic skills and knowledge in the field of accounting as it relates to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Job Requirements Assist the Accounts Payable team with the filing and maintenance of vendor invoices and statements within the electronic filing system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Assist the Accounts Receivable team with data entry, reconciliation support, and the organization of customer receipts. Maintain organized vendor and customer records. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance Team members and maintain positive working relationships across departments. Assist with special projects and perform ad hoc administrative duties as assigned. Maintain absolute confidentiality, at all times, when dealing with business related information. Skillsets Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word). Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organization. Competent and accurate when dealing with numerical data. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Prior or current studies in Accounting will be considered an asset. Please note that shortlisted candidates invited for an interview will be required to complete a short administrative and Microsoft Excel assessment. The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate written communication skills, attention to detail, and basic proficiency with Excel functions. Work Hours: 40-hour work week. Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and flexible hours if required. Compensation: CI$10.00 – 12.00 per hour, depending on experience.
