You'll be part of an agile and dynamic workplace where today's solutions are built for tomorrow's challenges.</p>\n<p>In this role,</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cost Accountant</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Accountabilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">[Financial Reporting]</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare various inventory reports for Balance Sheet reconciliations</li>\n<li>Prepare operation executive summary package, i.e. margin, variance analysis, work with business partners to identify root cause and action plans</li>\n<li>Prepare operation variance reports on bi-weekly basis</li>\n<li>Participate in generating and validating Costing and Inventory related INFOR and PowerBi reports dashboard and KPIs for operation performance review</li>\n<li>Participate in prepare annual budget and forecasts</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">[Month-end Activities]</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare inventory reconciliations and adjustment when needed</li>\n<li>Prepare inventory provision, accrual, GIT journal entries in INFOR system at the month-end</li>\n<li>Assist in the consolidation process to produce accurate and compliant financial statements for the entire corporation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">[Cost Rolls]</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform ad-hoc cost rolls with reasonability check</li>\n<li>Participate in Quarterly cost rolls, work with business partner to validate the updates of cost</li>\n<li>components in BOM and routings and their corresponding rates</li>\n<li>Review standard costs and MAUC costs on regularly basis for reasonability, work with internal business partners for correct item master data, BOMs and routings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">[Process Improvement]</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in intercompany accounting processes.</li>\n<li>Implementing best practices and automated solutions to streamline intercompany transactions and reconciliations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">[Work with Business Partners]</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with IT team in troubleshooting INFOR system issues</li>\n<li>Support PEG team in project revenue and COGS recognitions</li>\n<li>Support other cost accountants in all aspects of costing and inventory matters</li>\n<li>Maintain and develop strong working relationships with internal business partners for effective collaboration and achieving organizational goals</li>\n<li>Provide support during external audits by preparing requested documentation and explanations related to intercompany transactions and reconciliations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<p>To thrive in this role, you should bring:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required</li>\n<li>Currently holding a CMA or other equivalent designation (CMA, CPA, etc.) is required</li>\n<li>3 - 5 years’ experience working with engineering, manufacturing and distribution operations in an industrial environment is required</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of standard costing and production variances</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, INFOR as an asset</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and data gathering skills</li>\n<li>A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently</li>\n<li>Attention to detail, strong time management, organization skills and accuracy</li>\n<li>An ability to communicate openly and authentically in all situations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Armstrong Fluid Technology?</span></p>\n<p>By joining us, you’ll become part of a global community dedicated to pushing the boundaries of fluid-flow technology.
