    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Summary of Job Description:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Under general supervision, incumbent installs, troubleshoots, and repairs plumbing and piping systems in Mohegan tribal government facilities and provides direction to support staff when requested. <strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Knowledge of or ability to research current building codes and National Plumbing and Mechanical Codes&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of safe work practices, including Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures and occupational hazards&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to read and interpret manuals, specifications, drawings, and blueprints</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform basic shop mathematics and use a computer and related software programs &nbsp;</li><li>Oral and written communication skills, including recordkeeping skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills&nbsp;</li><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>P1 license</li><li>Five (5) years of journey-level experience performing plumbing in a commercial or industrial setting</li><li>Experience in using a wide variety of hand, power and shop tools and equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license from state of residence</li><li>Able to lift/move 50 pounds</li><li>Ability to work in adverse conditions such as extreme cold and extreme heat, dust, noise, and wetness</li><li>Ability to perform essential duties with physical demands such as lifting/moving, pushing/pulling, kneeling, climbing (including ladders), crouching, and reaching</li><li>Ability to perform around mechanical hazards, moving objects and mechanical equipment</li><li>Successful candidate must pass the background check and continue to be eligible for employment in accordance with The Mohegan Tribe&rsquo;s Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Protection Policy&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work as required for emergencies, snow/ice removal and special events</li><li>Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Mohegan Tribal Government is committed to Native American Preference and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</strong></p><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
