The Audit Supervisor is a key part of our team – you will plan/perform increasingly complex work in carrying out audit projects, ensuring they are executed to a high standard within the agreed timeframe.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Who we are:</strong></p><p>Platform Accounting Group is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services to small and medium sized businesses and their owners. We currently have 50+ offices across 15 States with much more growth on the horizon. Enjoy a professional and dynamic work environment while making work/life balance a priority.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead client engagement meetings to determine timelines and goals of an audit.</li><li>Plan/perform all types of projects related to audit and assurance with increased complexity and independence.</li><li>Review team's final financial analysis upon completion of fieldwork to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures.</li><li>Assist with the training of new or less experienced staff members.</li><li>Network, build relationships and attract new clients or business to the Firm.</li><li>Prepare work papers that are informative, well-documented, and can easily be understood and explained.</li><li>Demonstrate superior accuracy in work using established firm policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>What we look for:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in public accounting audit work</li><li>BA or higher degree in accounting</li><li>CPA preferred</li><li>Experience working in construction and real estate audits is a major plus.</li><li>Experience with paperless audit software (i.e., PFX Engagement)</li><li>Someone who is inquisitive and enjoys learning about various client business processes and potentially traveling to different locations to help clients.</li><li>The ability to develop others and provide constructive feedback to other team members.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunity for advancement within a rapidly growing professional services firm.</li><li>Ongoing informal and formal training and development</li><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>401(k) and medical benefits</li><li>Firm sponsored continuing education.</li></ul><p>The expected salary range for this role is $75,000 - $130,000 per year, which represents a good faith and reasonable estimate.? Compensation decisions depend on numerous factors including bona fide qualifications and the facts and circumstances of each case at the time of hiring.?
