    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>Thermoform Operator I - <strong>2nd Shift (differential offered)</strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong></p><p>Sets up and operates, with close supervision, Thermoforming machines. Inspect in process components using calibrated measuring instrumentation. Materials are of polymer/plastic sheets that must be removed from calibrated batch ovens and placed into forming machine. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet&rsquo;s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Principle Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to measure thickness and identify color of material. (Ultem/Radel and others)&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to recognize proper sag time and engage forming cycle. Ability to recognize cosmetic defects and functional problems with configuration.&nbsp;</li><li>Place parts in stacks on designated rolling racks. Record transactions in an accurate and timely manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Put away molds&nbsp;</li><li>Rack and load in oven</li><li>Rough and finish trim excess off molds</li><li>Inspecting molds from oven</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>Qualification Requirements</u></strong></p><p><strong>Credentials/Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 6 months related experience&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Experience/Educational/Training Preferred:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Basic blueprint reading</li><li>Usage of torch and pyrometer</li><li>Ability to work independently and exercise judgment&nbsp;</li><li>Good communication skills &ndash; both verbal and written&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and follow work instructions&nbsp;</li><li>Understanding of shop math&nbsp;</li><li>Able to identify cosmetic defects in product&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Other Requirements&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
