You&rsquo;ll plan engaging activities, follow treatment plans, document progress, and work as part of our Residential team under the guidance of the Youth Behavioral Health Specialist Manager.&nbsp;\\n\\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\\n\\n\\n\\tResponsible for direct supervision and safety of all clients.\\n\\tResponsible for the proper behavior management of children through the use of behavior management techniques.\\n\\tBuild healthy relationships with clients and be a role model of healthy behaviors\\n\\tHave a working knowledge of the child&#39;s treatment plan and objectives and structure activities to support that plan.\\n\\tResponsible for creatively structuring activities for groups and conducting psycho-educational groups.\\n\\tMay be responsible for medication administration and other medical support.\\n\\tResponsible for the review/writing of all required documentation.\\n\\tResponsible for teaching, guiding, and assisting the client in daily life skills as appropriate for age.\\n\\tProvide 24-hour awake supervision.\\n\\tMay assist the classroom teacher in performing classroom duties.\\n\\tAbility to manage clients courteously and tactfully while on agency property.\\n\\n\\nWHAT YOU WILL BRING:\\n\\nOur ideal candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience working with children and the following:\\n\\n\\n\\tHigh school diploma or GED, required. \\n\\tBachelor&rsquo;s degree in social services, child development, or criminal justice, preferred.\\n\\tAt least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening, required. \\n\\tA valid driver&rsquo;s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation, required.\\n\\n\\nWHO WE ARE:\\n\\nCornerstones of Care is a mental and behavioral health nonprofit certified in trauma-informed care that provides evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and support services to help children and families improve their safety and health by making positive changes in their lives.
