    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A private family in Long Island is seeking a weekend live-in special needs nanny, caregiver, or nurse to provide dedicated care for their 7-year-old son with autism who is non-verbal. This is a live-in role while on duty, requiring a true 24/7 mindset during scheduled shifts.</p>\n<p>The position is fully focused on their son, who is very sweet and non-violent. He has food allergies, so the candidate must be exceptionally attentive and confident in managing dietary safety with the highest level of care and precision.</p>\n<p>While the role does not currently require hands-on medical procedures, the family strongly prefers a candidate with a medical background or extensive experience working with non-verbal and neurodiverse children. Knowledge of hygiene protocols, cleanliness standards, and structured developmental support is essential.</p>\n<p>The household is extremely clean, organized, and operates at a highly sterile standard. The ideal candidate will naturally maintain exceptional hygiene, structure, and organization in all child-related areas.</p>\n<p>The family values professionalism, emotional stability, high energy, common sense, developmental awareness, and strong communication skills. Both local and relocation candidates will be considered. Long-term tenure is essential — candidates with a history of positions lasting under two years will not be considered.</p>\n<p><strong>Please Note:</strong> Public transportation may not be used to commute to work.</p>\n<h2><strong>Schedule & Hours</strong></h2>\n<p>The family is open to adding additional shifts for the perfect fit. </p>\n<p><strong>Ideal Schedule (one of the following):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Friday 7:00 AM – Sunday 7:00 AM<strong>OR</strong></li>\n <li>Saturday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Daytime Hours:</strong> 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM<strong>Overnight Care:</strong> 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Overnight rate: <strong>$250 flat per night</strong></li>\n <li>If the child wakes during the night, the hourly rate resumes until he is asleep again.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean, hygienic, and highly organized environment</li>\n <li>Prepare fresh, healthy meals with strict allergy management</li>\n <li>Foster a nurturing, joyful, and developmentally supportive atmosphere</li>\n <li>Organize and maintain all child-related spaces</li>\n <li>Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities</li>\n <li>Provide structured, attentive care with consistency and patience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical background strongly preferred OR exceptional experience with non-verbal children</li>\n <li>Strong long-term nanny experience with excellent references</li>\n <li>Experience with neurodiverse children highly preferred</li>\n <li>Highly detail-oriented with exceptional cleanliness standards</li>\n <li>Professional, career-focused nanny with strong boundaries</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a fully staffed home</li>\n <li>Excellent communicator and collaborative team player</li>\n <li>Familiar with structured household routines</li>\n <li>Highly organized, proactive, and reliable</li>\n <li>Confident taking direction while working independently</li>\n <li>Polished, composed, and emotionally steady</li>\n <li>Strong swimmer preferred (not required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain immediately)</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with clean driving record</li>\n <li>Up-to-date vaccinations (including Tdap and Flu)</li>\n <li>Legally authorized to work in the U.S.</li>\n <li>Non-smoker</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>$100,000+ for 2 days and 2 nights </li>\n <li>PTO</li>\n <li>Sick pay</li>\n</ul>",
