Description

A.T. Still University is seeking an exempt Fellow Postdoctoral Research on the Mesa, Arizona campus. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day coordination of clinical outcomes investigations organized and relevant to post-doctoral training. Identify, develop and implement a research study to advance post-doctoral training and expertise. Monitor recruitment and retention of research subjects. Provide and support research data handling functions such as collection, processing, quality monitoring, and entry. Support ongoing activities of the ATSU SalivaEpi Biobank by performing patient recruitment and enrollment. Activities could extend to recruit participants, obtain participant consent, and perform saliva sample collection, sample storage, and data entry. Schedule research protocol activities. Coordinate start-up activities for clinical research protocols. Ensure that the goals, objectives, and activities related to research projects are achieved and evaluated in a timely manner; moreover, organize/facilitate appropriate planning, development, and implementation of assigned scholarly activities. Collaborate with community stakeholders to establish partnerships and engage the community in research initiatives, promoting community-based research principles. Assist in research dissemination including oral presentations, posters and manuscript preparation. Assist with management of fiscal and physical research resources. Assist researchers in the preparation and submission of progress reports and financial status reports. Monitor research grant programmatic activities for timeliness and appropriateness/accuracy. Assist in the production of activity reports from current clinical research projects. Assist in research grant proposal development. Support research protocol development. Other duties as assigned
