The role provides technical leadership, troubleshooting, and equipment oversight, while supporting and deputising for the Shift Team Leader as required. A core focus is embedding operational excellence through training, coaching, and continuous improvement to maintain a high‑quality, compliant production environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-weight: bold\">Shift Pattern: </span>Monday - Friday; Rotate Early/Back Shifts (06:00 - 14:00/13:45 - 21:45)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-weight: bold\">Key Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Shift Team Leader with the leading of the production shift team ensuring adherence to plan and the timely resolution/escalation of issues</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all written and verbal instructions associated with the task (Batch Documentation, SOP’s etc)</li>\n<li>Ensure completion of all relevant paperwork/ progress boards in a clear and accurate manner, consistent with department instructions</li>\n<li>Participate in resolving incidents, deviations and root cause and preventative action analysis</li>\n<li>Enable effective communication with the team to encourage the exchange of GMP seeking advice from other experts as necessary</li>\n<li>Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments to maximise operational effectiveness</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all risk assessments and all COSHH data sheets</li>\n<li>Responsibility for ensuring the correct application and condition of P.P.E. appropriate for the area</li>\n<li>Maintain the environment in a clean and tidy manner that supports GMP compliance</li>\n<li>Ensure equipment is operated in the correct manner, fit for purpose and highlight any fault/deficiencies</li>\n<li>Train and coach operators on processes and procedures where qualified</li>\n<li>Co-ordinate team and activities to ensure performance and deadline metrics are achieved</li>\n<li>Co-ordination with shift teams to ensure activities are aligned and that full and effective handovers take place</li>\n<li>Responsible for coordinating remedial actions in the event of a spillage in the Department</li>\n<li>Deputise for Shift Leader when required</li>\n<li>Comply with all company local and global policies</li>\n<li>Actively participate in and lead, where required, continuous improvement initiatives for department</li>\n<li>Ensure the daily GMP audits of the area are carried out maintain compliance with HSE, cGMP, 6S standards</li>\n<li>Perform any other duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by Company management.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Qualifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Standard Grade or equivalent in the following subjects is essential, Maths, English</p>\n<p>Standard Grade or equivalent in the following subject is desirable but not essential, Chemistry<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(53, 152, 219); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Knowledge/Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Related industry experience within a manufacturing / production role - pharmaceutical experience desirable</li>\n<li>Understanding of cGMP principles within a manufacturing environment.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of IT tools i.e. MS Office &amp; network systems</li>\n<li>Working with written technical work instruction i.e. SOP’s; Modules and Manuals</li>\n<li>Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.<br></li>\n</ul>",
