    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Moorings Park is looking for a Unit Manager.&nbsp;The Unit Manager Reports to the Director of Nursing. The Unit Manager is responsible for providing a system of care for residents in a manner and environment promoting maintenance and enhancement of each resident&rsquo;s quality of life and provides dignity and respect in full recognition of each resident&rsquo;s individuality. This position includes hands-on assistance and training to the nurses working under the direction of the Unit Manager.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Contributions:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for the oversight of assigned patients, supervises and evaluates nursing interventions for residents, maintaining the standards of care in conjunction with nursing leadership</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Facilitates meetings and committees to handle resident care issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides leadership, coaching and guidance; creating a working environment which promotes participation and works to retain and develop staff and utilizes the progressive discipline process.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identifies staff development needs and assists with implementation of comprehensive staff development program in conjunction with Staff Development Coordinator.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participates in planning, development and evaluation of nursing department programs and projects for achieving/sustaining nursing care delivery excellence</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze unit performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and outcomes.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead the development of the resident care plan&nbsp;and promote interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure comprehensive patient care.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicates effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Escalate critical issues to the DON and provide recommendations for resolution.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Represent the unit in leadership meetings as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinates with the DON, ADON &amp; MDS to improve residents Quality Measures, implement and ensure interventions are in place for clinical needs.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participates in the assurance of survey readiness throughout clinical practices.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Job Requirements:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Currently licensed in the State of Florida as RN.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3 years of nursing experience with progressive responsibility for supervisory duties.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Geriatric Nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.</li></ul></div><p>Moorings Park &reg; Communities, a renowned Life Plan organization includes three unique campuses located in Naples, Florida.
