          "text": "<p>This position will be recognized as the global subject matter expert and functional area lead for Health and Safety.&#xa0; This position is responsible for providing technical expertise, direction and coaching for health and safety processes and practices. The candidate will need global health and safety experience within a manufacturing environment, including multi-site and multi-country operations.&#xa0;This position will also work closely with the Global EHS Team to develop and drive O-I’s Health and Safety cultural journey.</p><p><strong>Please submit your CV/resume in English.</strong> Professional fluency in English is required. Spanish proficiency is considered a plus.</p><p>Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Leads the development and the implementation of O-I global policies and procedures.</li><li>Provides the plants with “hands on” coaching and support.</li><li>Monitors health and safety performance with a data driven approach, identifies trends and patterns, acts proactively.</li><li>Drives “culture change” through leading by example, coaching, mentoring, and engaging people at all levels.</li><li>Develops EHS capabilities across the organization.&#xa0;</li><li>Ensures plants have proper tools and resources to progress in Health and Safety.</li><li>Acts as a subject matter expert on health and safety.</li><li>Identifies and shares best practices.</li><li>Oversee health and safety legal compliance (regulatory horizon scanning).</li><li>Conducts training activities.&#xa0;</li></ul>",
