We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a passion for team development and process improvement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of U.S. GAAP to ensure our company's finances are in order. You will manage and mentor a team of four accountants and support staff, driving efficiency and accuracy across the department.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<p>·        Manage all accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll activities, including the monthly close processes.</p>\n<p>·        Manage and mentor a team of accountants and support staff, while providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.</p>\n<p>·        Collaborate closely with the finance team to align budgets, streamline financial processes, and support strategic growth initiatives.</p>\n<p>·        Will lead tax and audit workstream.</p>\n<p>·        Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.</p>\n<p>·        Oversee bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.</p>\n<p>·        Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and propose solutions for improvement.  Implement best practices across our businesses in the U.S. and Europe.</p>\n<p>·        Ensure compliance with US and European accounting principles (GAAP and IFRS) and local regulations. Stay updated on changes to statutory reporting and accounting standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p>·        Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA designation is desirable but not required.</p>\n<p>·        Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.</p>\n<p>·        In-depth knowledge of GAAP.  A working knowledge of IFRS is also desirable but not required.</p>\n<p>·        Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies.</p>\n<p>·        Good people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.</p>\n<p>·        Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks or others) and Microsoft Excel is a plus.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits Summary</span><br>We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ health, financial well-being, and professional growth.
