What you’ll do (typical responsibilities) On a day-to-day basis, our media sales professionals are responsible for: Account management of existing customers and new business development Working with some of the world’s fastest‑growing global brands Enjoying the benefits of a vibrant and growing market with huge opportunities for growth Positions typically involve: Media sales – representing strong B2B media brands in various business verticals (e.g. Insurance, Mortgage, Wealth, Legal, HR, etc.) Innovation – introducing new and innovative ad technology opportunities for our advertisers Account management – working with clients ranging from SMEs to big corporates (direct and through agencies) Business development – cultivating new business opportunities across a range of clients Collaboration – working closely with a range of people across the company (sales, marketing, editorial and design) Working to realistic KPIs and updating our CRM on a regular basis About you We are particularly interested in candidates who: Have media sales experience – 3+ years of proven, successful advertising sales experience (digital/B2B experience strongly preferred) Are results‑driven, self‑motivated , and willing to go the extra mile to achieve and exceed sales targets Have strong communication skills – superior client liaison, presentation and negotiation skills Are comfortable working with senior stakeholders at agencies and brands Are based in, or willing to relocate to, Kingston, Canada and can work in‑office 2 days per week as part of our hybrid model when roles become available Vacancy status – talent pool for future roles Use of artificial intelligence in hiring We use automated tools / artificial intelligence to help with note‑taking during interviews.
