Join DCI today to build relationships and gain fulfillment serving individuals in our comfortable clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Chief Biomedical Technician</strong> coordinates technical and building services at the clinic.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Five 8-hour shifts starting at 8:00am</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> Pay range from $32.00-$45.00 per hour, depending on experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits</li>\n <li>Life and long-term disability insurance provided at no additional expense to employee</li>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO) including holidays</li>\n <li>Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO – paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leave</li>\n <li>Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent</li>\n <li>Education reimbursement</li>\n <li>Employee assistance program</li>\n <li>Wellness program</li>\n <li>Among others</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Can Expect:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assures equipment maintenance and repair is completed according to the manufacturer guidelines, AAMI standards and DCI guidelines.  This includes the water treatment system, dialysis machines, reuse equipment and other equipment used in providing dialysis.</li>\n <li>Accountable for the training of all technical staff in the proper use and maintenance of equipment.  Documents such training.</li>\n <li>Accountable for maintaining proper inventory, following DCI inventory guidelines.</li>\n <li>Assures technical staff are performing according to the facility policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Coordinates and documents routine staff meetings with technical staff.</li>\n <li>Assures the technical area is clean and free of trash and clutter.</li>\n <li>Assures the physical plant is in good repair.  Coordinates outside services as needed.</li>\n <li>Performs air quality testing according to clinic policy.</li>\n <li>Keeps up-to-date on OSHA standards and other standards.  Implements and monitors compliance with standards to provide a safe workplace. </li>\n <li>Provides staff education in technical areas.</li>\n <li>Participates in on-call duties and is available in emergencies when indicated.</li>\n <li>Actively encourages and is an example of open communication between physicians, staff and Area Operations Director.</li>\n <li>Supervisory duties may be assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Successful Candidates Bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Desire to collaborate with care teams</li>\n <li>Ability to problem solve</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education/Training: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates degree (AA) or biomedical applications or equivalent from two-year College or technical school</li>\n <li>One year related experience and/or training</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>DCI’s Differentiator:</strong>Since opening the first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tenn., our Dialysis Clinic, Inc. family has grown to be the nation’s largest nonprofit dialysis provider with more than 270 locations in 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients each day.
