Eligible employees also have access to our competitive Health and Dental Benefit plan.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The VDC Detailer (Intermediate) bridges the gap between junior-level production and senior-level coordination. This role is responsible for producing coordinated 3D models and spool drawings with minimal supervision, ensuring constructability and prefabrication readiness. The Intermediate Detailer participates in clash detection, assists with drawing exports, and supports project coordination.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Keys Tasks</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The VDC Detailer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain 3D mechanical models using Revit in alignment with trade-specific standards.</li>\n<li>Prepare spool drawings and support the generation of layout views for prefabrication.</li>\n<li>Participate in clash detection reviews and assist with issue resolution.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with senior detailers and designers to integrate updated consultant and internal feedback.</li>\n<li>Support export and formatting of Trimble or layout drawings for field use.</li>\n<li>Maintain version control across multiple drawing submissions and model iterations.</li>\n<li>Support tracking of system components from digital model through fabrication to on-site installation, ensuring alignment with shop workflows and construction sequencing.</li>\n<li>Mentor junior detailers and provide peer-level quality checks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting, Architectural Technology, or related field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3-5 years of experience in VDC detailing, drafting, or mechanical construction documentation.</li>\n<li>Proficient in Revit; experience with Navisworks and fabrication software is an asset.</li>\n<li>Ability to obtain Reliability clearance; Secret clearance preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge and Technical Skills</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in Autodesk Revit for modeling, tagging, spooling, and layout drawing</li>\n<li>Basic familiarity with Navisworks for clash review</li>\n<li>Experience with sheet and view management, project browser organization, and model versioning</li>\n<li>Understanding of spool drawing creation and fabrication-readiness</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Trimble layout exports and shop drawing coordination tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical and Environmental Requirements</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sitting for prolonged durations, especially when performing computer-based tasks.</li>\n<li>Climbing stairs as needed.</li>\n<li>Performing tasks in a noisy environment.</li>\n<li>Manual dexterity for tasks such as typing and handling system-related tools or equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span>We thank all applicants for their interest in working at DILFO; only those identified for further consideration will be contacted.</span><span> </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Accommodations for disabilities are available, where needed, upon request.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>DILFO uses artificial intelligence as part of the screening process.</p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><em>DILFO does not accept and is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited résumés from recruitment agencies.
