You’ll work with technologies such as IP/MPLS routing platforms, optical transport systems, and broadband access networks, while collaborating closely with teams like the NOC, Core Engineering, and Network Architecture.</p>\n<p>This role is ideal for someone who already has a foundation in networking and is ready to take the next step in their engineering career. Here’s what the role looks like:</span></span><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Network Implementation and Integration:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install, configure, and integrate network infrastructure platforms including routers, switches, optical transport systems, and broadband access platforms.</li>\n<li>Support implementation of IP/MPLS routing infrastructure across core, aggregations, and edge network layers.</li>\n<li>Assist with the deployment of IP transit, IX peering, and private interconnection services.</li>\n<li>Participate in First Office Applications (FOA) and testing of new technologies introduced by the Network Architecture team.</li>\n<li>Support network expansions including capacity upgrades, new POP deployments, and transport network augmentation.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Network Operations and Maintenance:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide Tier-2 troubleshooting and technical support for incidents affecting IP/MPLS, optical transport, and access network infrastructure.</li>\n<li>Perform root cause analysis for network incidents impacting service availability or performance.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with NOC and vendor TAC teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.</li>\n<li>Execute and validate network changes during maintenance windows while ensuring minimal customer impact.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation &amp; Compliance:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain detailed network diagrams, methods of procedure (MOPs), and post-implementation reports.</li>\n<li>Document incident resolutions, known issues, and configuration standards.</li>\n<li>Support compliance with internal policies, SLAs, and industry standards.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Duties:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.</li>\n<li>Provide technical input for projects, audits, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.</li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(68, 114, 196)\">Candidates must show:</span></span><span style=\"color: rgb(68, 114, 196)\"> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">promote the Company culture</span> and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product/Service knowledge</span>: Remains up to date on the latest services and products we provide and has a clear understanding of how each work.
