Our team delivers projects that improve the quality of life in communities across Canada by providing access to essential services such as housing, education, and healthcare. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our approach goes beyond the project to the people – who are the heart of it all.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Champion and personify our values and culture</li>\n <li>Show an entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of developing and executing growth plans that lead to annual business growth</li>\n <li>Oversee your business unit’s operational objectives, including quality, commercial/financial, people, and culture</li>\n <li>Drive collaboration, identify opportunities and develop innovative strategies to expand services in the local market to achieve annual growth targets</li>\n <li>Collaborate with leaders from other business units to secure new opportunities and optimize resource allocation</li>\n <li>Lead with enthusiasm, delegate and empower teams</li>\n <li>Coach your team’s business development acumen</li>\n <li>Work with all team members to develop and obtain the necessary qualifications, training, and experience to achieve their professional growth</li>\n <li>Participate and present a unified company voice within the local business community, through networking, and active participation to help grow the business and recruit the best talent</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A strong desire to grow the business presence in the local market and meet company growth targets.</li>\n <li>A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in operations leadership and business unit growth, preferably in professional services</li>\n <li>A university degree or diploma in business administration, commerce, finance, engineering, architecture, construction management, or comparable degree (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)</li>\n <li>Clear understanding of a professional services business model, including workforce composition and resource management strategies, risk management strategies, and commercial strategies</li>\n <li>A network of industry contacts and relationships within the region as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations</li>\n <li>Ability to provide leadership, inspiration, guidance, and management support to a team of practitioners, as they define their career goals, develop their skills, and serve our clients</li>\n <li>Ability to meet or exceed financial business objectives </li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills </li>\n <li>The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook, demonstrate an energetic disposition, and mentor teams to achieve business growth ambitions</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience working respectfully in cross-cultural settings, including building, and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities considered an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Don’t have every single qualification?</strong> We know that some people are less likely to apply for a job unless they are a perfect match. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations.
