We invite you to apply to join our team of employees who are dedicated to excellence that meet the needs of the warfighters and our customers around the world, day in and day out.\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures\n<h2>Impact of the Role</h2>\n<h3>General Profile</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks</li>\n <li>Develops understanding in an analytical or scientific method or operational process</li>\n <li>Works with close supervision</li>\n <li>Performs manual tasks according to established procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Assist with preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. </li>\n <li> Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. </li>\n <li> Assists with performing equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance. </li>\n <li> Supports with troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems. </li>\n <li> Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system. </li>\n <li> Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains quality standards</li>\n <ul>\n  <h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> Attending a Vocational / Technical School or internal training program OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience or Skillset; No prior experience needed</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> Vocational/Technical Training Degree</li>\n   <li><strong>Discipline/Major:</strong> Technical training preferred</li>\n   <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Ability to work as part of a team. Problem-solving skills. Technical expertise. Automation. Calibration. Equipment maintenance. Failure analysis. Manufacturing support. Mechanical troubleshooting. Numerical control. Production support. Refurbishment. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Equipment repairs. Mechanical maintenance. Equipment monitoring.
