We are looking for experienced Commercial HVAC, Refrigeration, and Commercial Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technicians in our Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus OH markets as well as our Lexington, and Louisville KY markets!</strong></p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>As part of the Tech24 team, the HVACR technician plays a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring customers&#39; operations run efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently while representing the company with professionalism and integrity. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in the field.&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, rooftop units, split systems, and exhaust/make-up air systems</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity</li><li>Install, replace, and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed</li><li>Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system</li><li>Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues, repair recommendations, and preventative maintenance plans</li><li>Maintain EPA compliance and adhere to all local, state and federal safety regulations</li><li>Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked</li><li>Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service</li><li>Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration service (preferred)</li><li>EPA Certification license required</li><li>Kentucky Journeyman license required</li><li>Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical diagnostics, airflow systems, and mechanical troubleshooting</li><li>Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints</li><li>Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions</li><li>Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters</li><li>Own industry standard hand tools</li><li>Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Compensation Transparency</strong></p><p>The advertised pay range for this position is $30-$45 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications.
