    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The 2nd shift Manufacturing Technician I will be responsible for a variety of processing duties according to batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in the manufacturing department including but not limited to weighing, granulation, compression, blending and coating.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Report process or equipment problems to supervisor, perform minor or basic troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Ensure batch records equipment log books and other relevant records are current.</li>\n <li>Set-up and operate equipment for processing operations.</li>\n <li>Clean and maintain processing rooms and equipment.</li>\n <li>Monitor process and equipment and make necessary adjustments to maintain batch record specifications.</li>\n <li>Monitor product quality.</li>\n <li>Follow established department GMP's, SOP's and batch records.</li>\n <li>Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></p>\n<p>none</p>\n<h2>Job Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good communication skills both written and verbal.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li>\n <li>Follow company policies and procedures and  all safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand, speak, read and write in the English language.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Experience working/participating in a team based environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Food and Drug Administration (FDA) other regulatory.</li>\n <li>Experience using high Speed Mixer, Dryers, Fitz mill, Sweco, scales and tablet presses.</li>\n <li>Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPS).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
