    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n <b>Position Title:&nbsp; Campus Safety Monitor (CSM)</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Division:&nbsp; Leadership Services/School</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Reports To:&nbsp; Principal and District Safety &amp; Security Director</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>FLSA Status:&nbsp; Non-Exempt</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Salary Schedule:&nbsp; Hourly</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Work Days:&nbsp; School Hours, 190 Days</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <br/>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-weight: bold;\">\n <b><br/></b>\n</div><b>Essential Duties:</b>\n<div>\n <ol>\n  <li>Maintain an ongoing review of the physical security of the assigned school location.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Assist building administrators with the continuous monitoring of the school campus.</li>\n  <li>Assist with the supervision of students during transitions in the hallways.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Alert building administrators of any safety and security concerns throughout the school day.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Conduct school facility security vulnerability assessments and make suggestions to school administrators.</li>\n  <li>Maintain continuous indoor and outdoor monitoring of the school property.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Monitor to ensure the exterior school doors are secure during the school day.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Monitor hallways to meet the expectations of building administrators.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Appropriately monitor restrooms throughout the school day according to set guidelines.</li>\n  <li>Attend and participate in training workshops by the District Safety and Security Director.</li>\n  <li>Maintain confidentiality of all school information concerning students, staff, and school business.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Attend faculty meetings and other meetings as required by school administrator.</li>\n  <li>Demonstrate positive working relationships with the students, building administration team, building staff, and community stakeholders.</li>\n  <li>Assist with the management of car and bus traffic.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.&nbsp;</li>\n </ol>\n</div>\n<div>\n <br/>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Qualifications:</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ol>\n  <li>Minimum of a High School Diploma or state-approved High School Equivalency (HSE), required.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Ability to work late nights and some weekends.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.</li>\n  <li>Ability to be present at the physical worksite.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.</li>\n  <li>Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students, particularly during emergency situations.</li>\n  <li>Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.</li>\n </ol>\n</div>",
