The Field Service Technician will direct the set-up and support the execution objectives of the Operations Project Managers on RTI projects.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Directs refinery personnel and contractors on the staging of RTI chemistry.</li><li>Safely sets up RTI equipment (places and connects RTI-owned pumps and hoses).</li><li>Manages refinery contractors (mechanical fitters) as they connect RTI equipment to the injection points and plant utilities.</li><li>Operate and supervises others operating RTI-owned pumps during the chemical injection.</li><li>Leads clean-up efforts after the project and de-mobilizes equipment, per specified procedures.</li><li>Assists Operations Project Managers as requested.</li><li>Perform periodic, scheduled, and as needed maintenance on RTI Injection Pumps and Equipment.</li><li>Maintain a consistent level of competency on RTI Injection Pump Operation and Maintenance.<br></li></ul>",

Preference is given to those with process knowledge of upgrader, refinery or petrochemical units.</li><li>Valid passport and driver’s license.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional or Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>TWIC Card</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Working Conditions / Physical Demands</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The Company requires passing a pre-employment physical in which an objective medical professional will determine whether you can safely meet the physical demands of the position.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Duration of Workhours During Project Executions:</u></p><ul><li>Typically, 12 continuous hours that may extend up to 16 – 18 hours if an emergent need exists, for up to 14 days in a row.</li><li>Day shift and/or night shift.</li></ul><p><u>Working Conditions During Project Executions:</u></p><ul><li>Uneven or unstable ground, and wet, muddy, or slippery surfaces and footings.</li><li>Outside locations in extreme temperatures and weather conditions including wind, rain, snow, and other forms of inclement weather.</li><li>Routine, intermittent exposure to noise more than 85 dBA-TWA.</li><li>Environments that may necessitate the use of respiratory protection for the shift duration.</li><li>Half-face, full-face, and/or supplied air</li><li>Medical clearance to use respiratory protection is required.</li><li>Quantitative fit testing for specific respiratory protection is required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u>Physical Demands:</u></p><ul><li>Work at heights up to 150 ft/ 45m accessed via stairs, climbing ladders, or critical lifts by cranes.
